Alpaca Yarn - Traditions Worsted, Dyed

A slightly heavier weight yarn than our Moore House DK weight alpaca yarn, this soft, luxurious 3-ply alpaca yarn is made from alpaca fibre grown at our farm in the heart of the picturesque Niagara Peninsula. The fleece was first thoroughly cleaned, dehaired, and then spun to our own specifications at a Canadian mill. 

This lovely yarn was then hand painted at our farm in a unique range of colours. It is most suitable for a wide variety of projects such as sweaters, hats, and mittens. Please choose our Royale or Premier alpaca yarns for scarves and shawls that will be worn next to sensitive skin.

This yarn is wound into 110g skeins, perfect for knitting a hat or a pair of mittens from any number of patterns you choose from your own sources. Check your pattern's yardage requirements.

This yarn is dyed to order. Please allow up to a week for your order to be prepared prior to shipping.

Prepared in 110g skeins of 100% alpaca.

Handwash in cool water.  Block out and lay flat to dry.
