Alpaca Yarn - Traditions Lopi, Natural

Our chunky weight 1-ply Moore House Lopi alpaca yarn is made from alpaca fibre grown at our farm in the heart of the picturesque Niagara Peninsula. The fleece was first cleaned, dehaired and then spun to our own specifications at a Canadian mill.  This yarn is not dyed and represents one of the 22 natural colours of alpaca.

Our Moore House Lopi alpaca yarn knits up quickly and makes a super warm, thick fabric, perfect for hats, thrum mittens, and slippers.  Not suitable for sweaters as it is much too heavy.  Please choose our Royale or Premier alpaca yarns for scarves and shawls that will be worn next to sensitive skin.

Prepared in 125g balls of 80% alpaca/20% merino.

Handwash in cool water. Block out and lay flat to dry.
