Alpaca Yarn - Premier Fingering, Dyed

This luxurious 2-ply alpaca yarn is made from alpaca fibre grown at our farm in the heart of the picturesque Niagara Peninsula. The fleece was lovingly cleaned by hand at our farm and then spun to our own specifications at a Canadian mill.  The yarn was then hand painted at our farm in a unique range of colours.  It is exceptionally soft and is suitable for items worn next to your skin such as exquisite scarves and shawls.

This yarn is dyed to order.  Please allow up to a week for your order to be prepared prior to shipping.  Colours denoted with a "V" are variegated and may take a day or two extra to prepare.

Prepared in 100g skeins of 100% baby alpaca.

* Note that fingering weight yarns are often worked using larger needles to create an open lacy effect. For this reason, needle size and gauge are difficult to determine for this yarn. Always follow the gauge stated in your pattern.

Handwash in cool water. Block out and lay flat to dry.
